Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) Hong Kong Port provides Immigration and Customs clearance services for vehicular traffic and passengers travelling between the Mainland / Macao and Hong Kong by cross-boundary coaches, shuttle buses, hire cars or private cars via the Bridge.
Hong Kong residents are not required to submit arrival or departure cards to enjoy simplified immigration clearance procedures.
Most smart identity card holders can take advantage of self-service immigration clearance through e-Channels. Further information on the e-Channels is available through the following link:

In general, visitors can process their immigration clearance at traditional counters by presenting their valid travel documents together with arrival or departure cards.
To facilitate visitors, the following categories of visitors are not required to complete any arrival or departure card for immigration examination:
| 1) | Holders of an Exit-Entry Permit for travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao or a Chinese Travel Permit issued by the Mainland authorities other than cross-boundary drivers; or |

| 2) | Macao permanent residents holding a "Macao Smart Permanent Identity Card". |

Passengers entering Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Port (HZMB HKP) will go through the Red and Green Channel System. Passenger should proceed to the Red Channel upon arrival and make a declaration to Customs officers if they carry:
On the contrary, passengers should use the Green Channel upon arrival if they do not have any prohibited / controlled items, dutiable goods in excess of the exempted quantities nor a large quantity of CBNIs.

Any person arriving in Hong Kong-Zuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Port and in possession of a large quantity of currency and bearer negotiable instruments (“CBNIs”) (i.e. CBNIs of a total value more than HKD120,000), must make a written declaration to a Customs officer, using the Red Channel under the Red and Green Channel System. Any person who is about to leave Hong Kong, must upon the requirement of a Customs officer disclose whether he/she is in possession of a large quantity of CBNIs. If so, he/she must make a written declaration.

Department of Health (DH) enforces relevant provisions of the Prevention and Control of Disease Ordinance and the International Health Regulations at the seaports, Hong Kong International Airport and land boundary control points of Hong Kong so as to prevent infectious diseases from being introduced into or carried away from the territory.
Similar to the existing arrangement in other boundary control points, DH will set up facilities, such as thermal imaging systems and isolation facilities, and deploy personnel to provide quarantine clearance service to travellers in Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Port. Suspected case of infectious disease will be referred to medical facilities for follow-up.
To promote and protect the health of travellers, DH displays and distributes health information materials at the boundary control points. Alcohol handrub is provided in boundary control points to travellers to promote hand hygiene.
